Assumption Antipolo started their new year with a bang as it held its annual school fair and variety show entitled ‘Kislap’ last January 5-6, 2018 to not only provide the opportunity for performers alike to showcase their talents, but also to raise funds for their chosen beneficiaries. Aside from sporting an array of booths, food, and rides, the variety show offered in-house and outside performances for the Battle of the Bands (BOB) and the Battle of the Dances (BOD).
The monthly school mass was also held beforehand to bless the fairgrounds first. The mass also serves as a send off for the World Youth Day 2019 candidates. With Father Dari Dioquino as presider of the Eucharistic celebration, he enables the students to live out the theme of the mass: ‘Unite us in Faith as we Reclaim our Joy as God’s Beloved’.
The Variety Show featured performances from I Belong To The Zoo, Lola Amour, Leanne And Naara, Airforce, Marist High Impact, Hataw, Remix Performers, BOB Bands, and BOD Troupes. All of which were sure enough to bring creativity, culture, and diversity to the conclusion of this year’s school fair.
